From Patti (Fort) Johnson, long-ago friend of Kenny in Streator Grade School and High School Bands. He looks exactly as I remember him. So sorry to hear of his passing. We are much too young. (Marv, my e-mail is [email protected].) I kept updated somewhat through my Mom, Eliza Fort, who died at 86 in 2002. Best Wishes to the whole family.

How we will miss Ken! His good cheer, his laugh, his phone calls these last years to tell us about a great program he knew we would enjoy, his regular communication to keep in touch with his scattered Brickert family and then passing on news to the others. My adult children remember Monopoly games lasting into the wee hours and lots of laughs! We will always appreciate how he enriched our family.
