Kenneth Butler Sr.

Kenneth Mack Butler, age 80, a life-long resident of Hugo, passed from this life at his home on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born October 4, 1936 in Paris, TX, the son of Floyd Mack Butler and Willie Butler. He married Vicki Henderson on July 10, 1998 in Winfield, AL. Kenneth was a hard working man who lived by the Cowboy Code. This was evident in his kind heart, caring ways, warm smile and love for his fellowman, especially his family. Kenneth served in the United State Army for six years and drove a truck for United Parcel Service for twenty eight years. After retiring from UPS, Kenneth was able to devote his time to his passion of ranching. He was well known in the cattle industry for his sharp eye for a good Brangus heifer. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Marie Walker, brother, Don Butler, nephew, Gregory Don Butler and grandson, Stoney Butler. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: wife, Vicki Butler; children, Kenny Butler of Hugo, Michelle Rogers and husband, Ray of Hugo and Kirk Butler and wife, Molly of Sherman, TX; stepchildren, MikkiDon Webb of Richmond, TX and Brandon Webb of Richmond, TX; grandchildren: Kenny Mack and Sondra Butler; Kyle and Charise Butler, Ty Butler, Rowdy Butler, Justin Butler, Daniel and Ashlie Wisener, Ariel Wisener, Tanner Coker, Bradley Coker, and Rachael Coker; great grandchildren, Regan Butler, Kutter Butler, Beau Butler, Tinlea Butler, Eden Castillo, Evan Webb, Eliza Web and Edward Webb; brothers: Clint Butler of Alabama and Clellan Butler of Georgia; sister: Elaine Butler of Pennsylvania as well as many other relatives and friends. The family would like to express their appreciation to Brenda Clinton for her care and help given to Kenneth during this time.
