Ken we miss you dearly. Life for my mom, Jane, has been very sad without you over this past year. Winston misses you too.

Mr. Chant was my math teacher for the four years I attended The Woodhall School.
Math was, and possibly still is, my weakest subject; Mr. Chant challenged me to not be afraid of the arithmetic and broke things down into steps for me. I firmly believe he played a pivotal part in my success at Woodhall.
He was an easy person to talk with and he will be missed. Sadly, depending on whom you talk with, I haven´t really kept up correspondence with many of the people I have met at Woodhall.
I wish his family my condolences...

Ken was very dear to his life partner´s family. Jane has 2 children, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and Ken has been part of our family for many years. He has attended too many to count family gatherings, holidays, weddings, graduations and the baby he is feeding is now 13 years old. We will miss Ken´s presence, sense of humor, kindness and love in our lives. Thank you Ken for taking such great care of my mom (Jane) for so many years. You will remain in our thoughts and hearts forever

Sincerest condolences to Ken's family and friends. My wife Marina and I were visiting my family in CT many, many moons ago and we were invited to the Chant family household for dinner. Such fond memories of that day and the subsequent short visits over the years. I will always have a deep well of love for your family for making Russ part of your family, when ours was going through so much.

Although we never met, Family is always Family. From reading your life accomplishments and your passion for Jazz, I see where the Chant name carries through many similarities. My son, Nicholas, is an educator. My youngest, Carlie, wants to attend school to become an educator. The love of music and being involved in the community is in me. May your family and friends find peace knowing you are safely in our heavenly father´s care where you are at peace and have no pain. Please say hi to my dad Donald Chant and tell him I miss him!!

Gary and Family, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Ken sounds like he was a wonderful, caring and talented man.
