Donna and John Knaus
July 26, 2024
John and I have a lot of happy and fun memories of Kenny! When he came to Cold Spring with his family and first go to Nicky and Agnes house with all the relatives to play cards and eat what Agnes made! So many laughs and good times! All the fun and laughs at the Middle Bar with so many people that knew him ! They would always say when is he coming again! The last time he was here was for the Knaus reunion in Cold Spring that we put on and again so many fun times! David, you and Kenny were as close as brothers could be and know you are missing him a lot but keep thinking you were always there for him! John and I will keep Kenny in our thoughts and prayers! Sending our deepest sympathy to David, Kris, and Shaun! Love John and Donna Knaus

David, Kris and Shaun
So sorry for the loss of your brother, your brother in law and your uncle. He was an amazing man always laughing and smiling and he had such a great smile.
My first memory of cousin Kenny is the first trip I ever took going on a Greyhound bus to Michigan and all the stories I had heard about Kenny and David I was worried about meeting them. When I meet them I had such a wonderful time and they did everything to make my visit fun. Kenny reminded me of a big teddy bear.
We went into Canada, went to the sand dunes, I didn't make it up half way and that is when I was young and in good shape, Went on a boat on Lake Michigan and I got sea sick and they had to take me back to the house. We went to the store and Kenny fell over a beer display and we couldn't stop laughing.
Later in the years I took my girls Katie and Cindy and they always showed us a great time. One time Cindy thought she could go in Kenny's pool without her floaters and she jumped in the pool and Kenny had to jump in and save her. Next time she made sure she put on her arm floaters. Not sure if you knew this put my daughter Katie was named after Kenny and David (K.D) Katie
Katie and Cindy always had a good time hanging with Shaun but it always seemed like when we were there someone ended up going to urgent care. The kids were playing ball in the yard and I think it was Shaun got hit with the ball in his eye.
I could go on and on cause there are so many stories to be told such good times and laughs.
God bless Kenny and may he rest in peace and he will never be forgotten.
Love you Kenny

There are too many memories to just give one. From growing up seeing Kenny and David always being together when they were car racing in the early days and seeing their trophies on the wall. Just spending time with them growing up all the pranks they played on us and all the fun times we've had. All the visits between Michigan and Minnesota and the good times we've had with family. Then moving into the next generation with our children pulling some of the same pranks and jokes as they always did. Kenny was always very knowledgeable very smart and always willing to help. He was a very good kind person and was loved by very many people. We definitely are at a loss without him. I wish I could have seen you one last time I did try. No you are at home happy I hope along with all of our family who passed before us. You'll always have a place in my heart. Theresa
