Kenneth David Cones, born on May 23, 1943, in Beaumont, Texas, to John Cones and Lois Woods Cones, passed away peacefully on December 20th, 2024. Kenneth shared a loving marriage with Anita Graham Cones, whom he wed in 1965.

Kenneth dedicated 33 years of his career to Halliburton Services before retiring to Flint, Texas. In retirement, he found joy in bowling, playing card games, and working on building projects. Sixteen years ago, Kenneth and Anita embarked on a new adventure, selling their home in Flint to travel the country in a motorhome. Together, they explored 46 states, worked in RV parks, and managed three resorts.

Kenneth is lovingly survived by his wife, Anita; sons, David and Randy; daughters, Brenda and Linda; along with their spouses. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Kenneth is additionally survived by his sister, Roni Foreman (Fred) of Houston, and his brother, John Cones (Donna) of Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Cremation services are being handled by Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard, Texas.

Kenneth will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

I think I first met Kenneth on a cementing job in El Campo, Texas in May of 1972. I got to work with him until he retired.

Remembering Kenneth...
This picture is from a Thanksgiving a few years ago, and every time I look at it, I can´t help but smile. Kenneth was one of those people who just had a way of making everything better. He had a heart of gold and always knew how to make you feel welcome, like you were part of the family-even if you weren't.
For many years, he traveled all over the United States with his beautiful wife, Anita, sharing countless adventures together. It was clear how much they loved each other-those two were truly a team. Whether it was his stories, his sense of humor, or just the way he could light up a room, he always made you feel at home.
I´m so thankful for the moments I got to spend with him. I truly loved this man, and the world is a little less bright without him in it. His legacy of kindness, laughter, and love is something I´ll carry with me always.
Rest easy, my dear friend. You´re missed more than words can say.
