Mary E. Woods

Mary E. (Galvin) Woods, of Wellesley, died Friday, March 5, 2010. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Grace (Thompson) Galvin. She was the beloved wife of Walter Woods, devoted mother of the Rev. Walter J. Woods, pastor of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, Acton, Mary E. Blenkle of Mission Viejo, Calif., Joseph F. Woods of Wellesley, and Deborah A. Woods of Stow; loving grandmother of six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and was the sister of Joseph P. Galvin of Wellesley. Marys funeral Mass was celebrated by her son, the Rev. Walter Woods, on Tuesday March 9. Interment followed in Woodlawn Cemetery in Wellesley.
