Bruce was one of the very few friends I had in high school in Winnipeg. As a newcomer to this country, I struggled with the language and everything else that a newcomer would go through. Bruce was always there with his wise, encouraging words that helped me gain right perspectives.

When I asked him to be the accompanist for my church choir during the absence of the regular accompanist, he was more than happy to do it even though he did not understand a single word that was spoken during the practice. He was so great that all the choir members regarded him as part of the community. All these were the signs of how great of a person he was to become.

I feel really sad that I never had a chance to express my appreciation for what he did and how much it meant to me.
My condolences to his family members and everyone who has been impacted by Bruce's passing.

Dr. Bruce Fehr was a patient centered, compassionate doctor with a sense of humor that helped ease the pain and suffering he saw every day. As a parent of a critically ill child, I ALWAYS felt safe when he was working in the ER. He is a giant amongst his peers and will sadly be missed by us. God Bless his parents and loved ones.

I went to school with Bruce from kindergarten to grade 12 in Winnipeg.

We took piano lessons from the same teacher. I lost touch with Bruce after he moved to the United States but I still remember the cute boy with shiny brown eyes in grade school and the very talented and gifted young man he was in high school and university.

The world is a lesser place with his passing as I am sure he contributed 100% of his talents and energy into his life as a grown man.

My condolences to his father, two brothers and his friends.
