My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Rev. Granquist was a classmate of mine at Augustana Theological Seminary. He was very helpful to me at the Seminary Reunion many years ago. I always thought of him as such a young man! (I'm 94). Blessings to you all.

I echo my sister's comments of Pastor Granquist being an enormous influence on the entire Petty household. Memories of Camp Lutherdale, confirmation classes, trips to downtown Chicago, caroling around the holidays, candlelight services on Christmas Eve, and of course, obtaining my prized flower pot full of impatiens on Easter Sunday. What a wonderful man, pastor, father; he shaped many life's over his own lifetime. My deepest sympathy to the Granquist family.

Pastor and Carolynn Granquist welcomed my wife, our two children and I to Grace Lutheran Church in Mount Prospect when I was transferred to Chicago by the Canadian bank for whom I worked. They had great committment to the church and all it's people, sharing a wonderful sense of humour and dedication. Thank you. Allen and Colleen Colpitts

I have very wonderful memorie of Pastor Granquist, I was in one of his Confirmation classes @ Trinity Luth. in Waukegan, Il. We always had fun on oal the events and Pastor Ken added to them. Bike Hikes to the Dunes, Halloween Parties and trips to Riverview. We has some great time and formed some great friendships both with the others in Luther League and with his presentation of the scriptures. Thanks for a life well lived. God's Blessings on all of you.
