For those of us who loved Ken-
This poem, written anonymously years ago, is for Ken... or maybe it's from Ken.
Do not stand at my grave and weep:
I am not there,
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at
night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I did not die.
Although I cannot stop my weeping, you will continue to be all those things and more to me forever.

My deepest condolences at this very difficult time. Dr. Herman was loved and well respected. It is a great loss to your family and society in general.
