Ken and I were classmates in the Broadcast Communications Department at the University of Oregon, graduating in 1971. We were friends. I stayed with him once in Los Angeles, in 1975, with a highlight being touring the CBS studios. We continued our friendship when he returned to the University of Oregon. I had just concluded a four-year stint working in the news department at KEZI-TV and it was truly fun to hang out with Ken for a brief time prior to his moving to Portland. Ken was a wonderful guy. His taste in music was supurb! His soft-spoken manner was something I never forgot. Though I have not seen him since the mid'70's, I thought of him often and mourn his loss now.
Mary Stone.

Jeannie and family. My heart is heavy with sadness after hearing the news about Ken. I remember the boys riding their cars and wagons and playing over at your parents home. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Mary and Bob Stone
