Brian... we are so grateful to have the wonderful memories to hold on to, of special times with you in the UK and in Australia. We always marvelled at your ability to keep pace with our boys when they were young and your endless energy when it came to going on little adventures! Your zest for life was amazing and we will treasure the stories you told us of your life growing up. We will miss you so much... you brought light, love and happiness to our family and we thank you for all your kindness and love to Mum, especially. We thank you for bringing your beautiful family closer to ours and will keep that bond close, despite the distance between us all. I knew Brian initially from football and later though business. He was always as straight as an arrow, a man of high, even superlative, integrity.

I write to express sincere condolences to Brian's entire family, some of whom I have known for many years. Brian and my Dad, Walter Sharpe, worked together at Butterfield and Company (now Butterfield and Vallis) for their entire careers. I know Dad had a great respect for Brian and it's sad for me that another "link in the chain of memories" has passed on. May he Rest in Peace.

For a short while I worked with your dad at Butterfield and Company in the mid 70's and Brian was the epitome of a 'stand up guy' with a great sense of humor and work ethic .
