My sympathy to Teresa and his family, What a distinguished life Forbis had.

Dr. Jordan represented the highest use of the term "a gentleman and a scholar" for he was the best of both; one who brought honor and dignity to every circumstance that was blessed by his involvement. This quiet and efficient demeanor that inspired all who came in contact with him will be missed by all of us whether colleague, student, or associate. At this time of sadness our thoughts and prayers are with Teresa and the family.

Forbis was a mentor, a supporter, and a friend. He instilled the values of principle and structure in a field so often lacking. I shall always remember and respect the advice and counsel he gave me as a colleague. My condolences to Teresa and the family.

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with Teresa and her family at this very difficult time. Although I did not have the privilege of knowing Forbis I know he was loved by his family and their lives were better for having him in it. May the good memories bring you comfort.
