Kenneth Knott

February 15, 1933 - October 17, 2013 Kenneth Knott, age 80, of Holland, died Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Oak Crest-Bay Point of Holland. He was a member of Calvin Christian Reformed, where he served as Elder, Deacon and Cadet Leader. He was Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Navy following his service during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Knott. Ken is survived by his wife of 59 Years, Rose; children, Sandy and Paul Reile of Oxford, MI., Deb and Frank Hoogland , Steve and Jan Knott, Jim and Jodi Knott all of Holland; grandchildren, Lindsey and Brad Iverson, Katie and Austin Dahm, Jamie and Drew Durham, David and Kristina Reile, Lisa Reile, Bryan Knott, Chelsea Knott, Jonathan Knott, Adam Knott, Sarah Knott; great grandchildren, Sabrina, Anabelle and Emeline Iverson, Elsa Dahm; brothers, Rev. Edward Knott, Robert and Ruth Knott; in-laws, Alice Knott, Fern and Bob Barkema, Carla Tamminga, Pearl and Lee Beyer, Dr. Paul and Betty Brat, Myrtle and Jerry de Vries, Carol and Eric Ter Beek; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2013 at Calvin Christian Reformed Church, 387 W. Lakewood Blvd., Holland with Rev. Ronald Beyer officiating. Entombment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Visiting will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, October 20, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland.
