Thank you for the love you so freely gave me. Thank you for believing in me when no one else did. Thank you for your kindness, your humor, your patience. I have the career I do in part to your mentorship and training. I spoke to my students about you this week and hung a photo of us in my office. How I wish you'd been able to visit me and meet the therapists I train, and how I wish they could have met you! I hope Shirley saved you the best seat with the biggest dog to snuggle with! You will be so missed, Ken. Rest well, now. You've earned it.
