I was the Director of the Elk Rapids Housing Commission when your dad was a member. I remember his comments and advice regarding housing issues was very useful to me. He had common sense and he was flexible. I always appreciated all the work he did for the commission. Just last week I was in Frankfort to get my COVID shot and I thought of your dad since I knew he went over there to fish a lot.
So sorry for your loss. Your mom and dad were neighbors of my folks on Lamoreaux Drive, too. Barbara George

Dear Family of Kenneth Livingston, we offer our deepest sympathy in this great loss. We are members of Calvary Lutheran in Elk Rapids, as were Ken and Carol. I enjoyed working with Carol and Ken in Bible study and other committee work at the church. We were also thrilled to be on their boat a couple times when fish were caught for the annual Salmon dinner at church. The women were thankful for Carol's sewing talents in making hangings for the church as well as drapes for the dining hall. We share in your grief and pray that God will give you comfort in lives well lived and sweet memories

We were neighbors of Ken and Carol when we moved into our family home in Elk Rapids Mi in spring of 1995. They were wonderful neighbors always checking on our girls and following their activities. Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing and volunteering his time whenever he could. I think fishing was his passion. The church would have a fund raiser every year and Ken & Carol would keep the fish they had caught in the season and donated it to the church, most times they were the sole donators. Great neighbors and wonderful people on every occasion. Ken will be missed by many.

Worked with Ken at the Work Center, after 1986. He was a hard worker, always a gentleman and added a lot to our group. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time.

After all of the GM Plants in the Flint Area for the Worker's Compensation Area were consolidated and we all came to a central location to handle it for all of the Flint Area Plants. He was a great co-worker of the w/c family and a real friend to a lot of us. Unfortunately, we did not know that his beloved wife had also passed away so my condolences go out to the family. May You Rest in Peace Ken - Della Goble
