Kenneth W. Lundy, affectionately known as "Golden Hands," passed away on April 25, 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was 90 years old.

Born on November 27, 1929, in Waukegan, Illinois, to Elsie Keith and Harlan Lundy. He graduated from Waukegan High School where he met the love of his life, Lillian M. Lundy (nee Nichols). Their marriage of 71 years was a testament to their love and devotion. One of Ken's proudest achievements was designing and building a dream home for Lillian.

Ken served as Vice President of the Cement Masons and Plasterers Union Local 11. He was a boxer, singer, and avid golfer. He was also an active member of Christ Community Church, where he found great joy in participating in the church's Passion Play.

Ken and Lillian were predeceased by their only son, Ken, in 1993. They are survived by their three daughters, ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service to honor Ken's life will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Christ Community Church.
