Shortly after General Cable acquired Brand-Rex I had the good fortune to report to Ken McAllister. He was a fellow Mainer and a golfer so we hit it off right away. Ken helped me to navigate the new organization and treated me with respect. I admired Ken and appreciated everything he did for me. RIP my friend. Pl

Dear Sally, Kelly and Scott,
Ken hired me in 1987 at Carol Cable and was responsible for shaping my career and life's values. Being a true Rhode Islander, I didnt want to move to Kentucky in 1992 so he helped me and 2 of my colleagues form our rep. firm, Atlantic Component Marketing.
Over the years, we kept in touch, and I remember speaking with him last, telling him what a true mentor and friend he was. Between he and Tony G, we had A LOT of great times.
I'm sure he will do well with the hot dog stand we always talked about and will always keep him in my heart. May he rest and peace. My sincerest sympathy for your loss.

Ken was always quick to joke and loved to share his memorabilia ( projects in the basement)with all. I will never forget his smiles and laughter. May you find peace now with the Lord our Father. May Sally and family find comfort in the memories and compassion from many. Ken, You will be missed . ♥

Ken loved finishing basements and I was there for one of them. One weekend, about 35 years ago, my wife and two of our children and the material in my truck left New Jersey and headed to Rhode Island. Ken, Mr Mazzarese and myself, installed a zone of baseboard heat in their basement. Good team work with great friends. We love you Ken ❤. You will be in our hearts forever. Keep those hot dogs warm at Shaggy Dogs. Until we meet again ..... love, Debbie and Warren

Our sympathy and love go out to Sally McAllister, and all the McAllister Family on their loss of a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a great friend in Ken McAllister. We saw his handiwork in a basement and the joy he brought to others.

Our deepest sympathies to my good friend Scott and to Mrs. McAllister and Kelly and the whole McAllister family. I always enjoyed when Mr. McAllister visited Scott while at SLU. We talked sports of all sorts. The line about him enjoying taking money from his poker buddies made me smile as I was in several football pools over the years with Mr. McAllister where he did quite well. In fact he was the big winner this year in a football pool I run. So he was quite good at taking my money as well!
Prayers for the whole McAllister family.

Ken's passing has been a huge loss for so many, including his family, his many friends and all of the residents of Heritage at Miami Bluffs who benefitted from his years of dedicated service to our community. He was a very, very dear soul indeed.
My wife, Sue, and I had the good fortune to became his neighbors across the street almost 5 years ago and I've often described both he and Sally as "the best neighbors ever." We cherish the time we've had with them and have been experiencing the excruciating pain of his loss. I knew him to be a man of many talents that enabled him to excel on the football field, to build a successful career as an engineer and to add major improvements to his home that would be the envy of any professional remodeler. Ken was so generous and he's one of the few people I've met who was well liked by all who knew him. We are certain that he's in heaven now and heaven will be an even better place for it.

I was so lucky to have met and worked for Ken at Alpha Wire Company. The "lessons" he mentored me with were an incredible part of my success in my career. He really, really cared and was so passionate in what he did. I carry those traits of his forward. SACO AEI Polymers
