It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ken Peagam, Fort Qu'Appelle, Sask. on Tuesday October 2, 2012. Ken is predeceased by his parents Jack and Leona Peagam. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Linda Peagam; Ken's daughters Tammy Bremner (Stephen) and their family Jamie Chambers, Christopher Bremner, Leah Chambers and Great Grandchildren Christian and Cole; Kim Chambers (Lessie) and their family Courtney and Alexa; Pam (James Lynch); and Linda's children Kathy Jones (Keith) and their family Mathew, Shelby, and Michael; and Kelly Kohlert (Annette) and their children Rory, Hallie, and Amara; his brother Gord Peagam (Linda) and their daughters Andrea Norgaard (Mark) and their family Jessi, Hannah, Ty; and Donna Peagam (Mike Martin) and their family Izabella and Connor; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ken was born on Feb 5, 1945 in Wolseley SK and was raised in Rosewood near Lemberg, SK. Ken joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1963 and worked as a military firefighter. He was stationed in several areas across Canada and also Germany. He travelled the world during his career while raising his three daughters. Ken moved back to Saskatchewan in 1992 and married the love of his life Linda in 2000. Ken and Linda had many wonderful journeys together and loved life.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank-you to the Edmonton Lung Transplant program and the Edmonton University Hospital ICU unit for their exceptional specialized and compassionate care. It was an amazing and inspirational experience.
At Ken's request his body was donated for medical research.
A memorial funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Fort Qu'Appelle on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Sharron Bobnaryk officiating. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire contributions to the Saskatchewan Lung Association, 1231 – 8th Street E., Saskatoon S7H 0C5 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 – 3rd Avenue N., Saskatoon S7K 2H8 may be tokens of remembrance.

Dad its been three months and I miss you everyday you were the rock of our family and not just our dad but much more you were kind to people and funny you helped build a skate broad park for the kids so they would have something to do you were my best friend you never judged people you liked them for who they were I love you dad and will and do miss you everyday you were the best and my world will never be the same without so I can only hope and pray I see you again when it is my time to go I love and miss you dad

I will forever miss you dad you were the best dad in the whole wide world and I bet lots of kids said that but I really did have the best dad!! Gone way to soon !!!! The world just seems so different now because your not in it !! I hope we see each other. Again but I used to believe in god but why would he take the best man out of this world when we all need you so much !I will never forget your kindness and the way you loved Linda and life ! I am saddened by the passing of my old firefighter friend from our time in Germany. Ken was a great guy who always knew how to have fun. A little story ... one afternoon in the fire hall in Baden, we were all sitting around and I was reading the Stars and Stripes. Suddenly my newspaper started to burn, it was Ken who lit my newspaper on fire. We laughed about that for a week. He was always the guy to lighten the mood around the fire station. I'll never forget Ken, God bless him.
