Gloria and I extend our sincere sympathy to the Picot family at this incredibly difficult time.We all knew Ken as caring,gentle human being,but on the field Ken was all business and always prepared to make the call no matter how difficult
My most vivid memories are not from the field but St Boniface hospital where Ken lay with an untreated broken leg for days.During this time Ken,Art McAvoy and I did some incredible bonding with endless laughter with Ken begging us to stop.because every time he laughed his leg hurt.Tupical Ken never once complained about the pain.God bless you Ken #37

Our deepest sympathy to Mary Ann, Kory and Trent.

Kenny's passing was truly unexpected.
May the void of his absence be filled with happy memories of the husband, father and friend he was.
Kenny was an experienced advisor and supporter of football officiating and us as officials.
We have suffered a great loss of knowledge, experience and friendship.
He certainly was a character. There were plenty of good times and conversations.
I recall and shall miss his big grin while saying Sanks eh!

To the Picot family
I first met Ken as a ten year old, in 1966, when he was coaching Little League Baseball.
I would see him from time to time, in adult life, while he was delivering milk and I was delivering mail. We would talk about old times, football, pretty much anything and I thoroughly enjoyed our chats.
Ken was kind, generous and a true gentleman. It was always a pleasure to see him and a privilege to call him my friend, for these past 50 years.
My sincere condolences go out to his friends and loved ones.

Deepest condolences to family of Ken Picot. Grew up with the Picot kids - enjoyed skating, hockey & shinny on the road, Pat games, the cottage at Regina Beach, softball on the diamond across from their house. Our parents were good friends and there were many good times. Ken was a kind & generous person, as were his parents - the apple does not fall far from the tree.

Our sympathy to the Picot family;
My brother and I met Ken while he was delivering milk to our confectionery store back in the late 1980's and early 1990's. He was a lot of fun. Always had a smile, and he and Howard were always telling jokes. We would watch him on the football field while he was officiating as well. Watched the game where he broke his leg so badly and felt so sorry to see him hurt so bad. Rest in peace Ken, and may your family find peace. Your friends, Evelyn Taylor, and Howard Todd

Dearest family and friends of Ken, my sincerest condolences of the passing of Ken. We were served by his father and himself, grew up around the corner, literally and spent a lot of time growing up, going to church and graduating together. While separate and apart I followed his football career with interest as he was readily identifiable on the field as well as the players. It was a shock and a surprise to me to read this announcement. However, he lived a good life and accomplished many things in the time that he had with us and we are certain to remember him. On behalf of the Hein family, Ken may you rest in peace.
