My sympathy to the Quiring Family. Mr Quiring was a "Rookie" instructor my Senior year at ZHS. In addition to being an excellent instructor, outside of the classroom he was a wonderful individual. He attended several of our reunions and will be missed by my classmates.

KQ, you were one of the most impassioned educators I've ever encountered. A great loss for future generations of young ones, but a great inspiration for those honored enough to have been entranced in your classroom.
Thank you for everything you did for us, we love you.

My sympathy to the family of KQ. From listening to our daughter, Kim, he was a terrific teacher. In fact, he was the main reason she followed his footsteps in the teaching field and became a social studies teacher. What a positive influence and role model he was to her.
