Kenneth REEVE Obituary

REEVE, Kenneth Jeanneret, 101, passed away January 11, 2012, in Midlothian, Va. He was born July 2, 1910 in Western Springs, Illinois to Henry Jeanneret Reeve and Eva Hart Reeve. He graduated from the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts in 1930 and worked as a commercial artist and art director for Chicago advertising agencies until 1949. Subsequently he lived in the Brown County, Indiana, art colony for 56 years where he was known for his award-winning landscape watercolors and aquatint etchings. Mr. Reeve is survived by his wife of 76 years, Helen H. Reeve; daughter, Susan R. Cash (George) of Chesterfield, Va.; son, Daniel H. Reeve (Martha) of Swanville, Maine; and grandchildren, Gregory Miles, Andrew Reeve and Lee Reeve. Services will be private. Memorials may be made to the Brown County Historical Society, P.O. Box 668, Nashville, Ind. 47448, or the Alzheimer's Association.

My Father Vern Schwab passed away 12-30-11 from alzheimers.

A great artist! Remember being invited inside their home.Helen
and Kenneth were very gracious.I was so facinated with their work
I stayed too late and rode my bycycle down that dark country road.
I was only 16, but a cherished memory it was. Tom Schwab.........
