My prayers go out to the Reeves family. Kenneth was a close and dear friend that will always remember. We met when I was 16 at Swarthmore College Upward Bound Program. Keith and Kenneth helped this Philly boy through so hard times during those years to follow. He believed in me. thank you my Dear Friend. You will be missed, but not forgotten.

With deepest sympathies to your family, Keith and all of those like me who deeply loved you. My heart has cracked open at the learning of your passing. I don't know where to begin, but if anyone has answers to what happened to my dearest friend Ken, please let me know. My name is Michelle Cox -Horton of Chicago,IL. I literally found out about Ken's passing late Friday night on Oct 5th. Tried to reach him for several weeks with no success. Again, if someone could please let me know what happened to Ken, I would be so grateful. Ken, I know the gates of heaven were opened for you when you transitioned. You're now among the heavenly host in praising and worshipping our God. May God bless your soul as you have blessed me and my family. I love you!!!

My family remembers Kenneth as one of our customers at Elman's Variety Store on 3rd. Street in Chester, PA. He, his brothers and his sister (and his mom) too were very good to us. Their mother did a very good job of making sure that her children made strides to better themselves and the people that they touched. When people that I talk to about Chester being negative all of the time, I do like to use the Reeves family as an example that Chester can be positive and that it does not matter where you come from but what you do with what you have inside you. Our thoughts to the Reeves family.

When I met Ken I knew I'd made a friend for life. I never knew our friendship on earth would only last 7 years. Ken was a rare breed-- he was focused on excellence, gave more than he ever asked for in return, and was passionate about life, family, God and friends. While I am heartbroken over our losing Ken, my heart was uplifted by our last conversation. Ken was happy to be settled into the Atlanta area, loved his new role at Rock-Tenn and really enjoying spending time with family. While Ken is gone we all know that as a believer in the word, he still lives. Rest in peace my brother. Thanks for all you gave this world. Cheryl Kern

I just listened to the voicemail messages you left about your brother and uncle coming to hang out with you in Atlanta...about how you were enjoying your work with Rock-Tenn...about how you were enjoying life. You weren't just an Eagle Scout...but an eagle in every sense of the word. You taught me how to be a leader in corporate America. You were a great mentor, coach and champion to me and so many others. You modeled the way, Ken! I am so grateful to God for bringing you into my life. I will miss you terribly and I will never forget the personal gifts you shared. The brainstorming sessions...the resume reviews...the middle of the night advice. You were always there. Our friendship was priceless and I am so happy to call you my friend. Rest in peace and may God bless your family.

I was so shocked to hear of Ken's passing. I worked with Ken at International Paper, and he was an awesome friend. We had stayed in touch over the years - heck, everyone who worked with Ken likely says that, he just was the kind of guy who always stayed in touch. He did much good in the world, and I know he always focused on working with and inspiring young people. He was taken far too soon, but he lived a good and righteous life. I'm very glad I knew him. Comfort and prayers to Ken's family and friends at this difficult time.

Dear Ken,
I am saddened to learn of your untimely death at such a young age. You really made my Swarthmore College experience that much richer. When I think of you, I think of The Sophisticated Gents, the parties at the BCC, and a host of other simply good memories.
You will be missed dearly. My sincerest condolences to Keith and the rest of your family.
