Kenneth Robertson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 22, 2025.
Kenneth (Kenny) Harold Robertson, 62, of Frisco, Colorado, passed away on May 8, 2025. Born February 12, 1963, in Dover, New Hampshire, Ken lived a life rich with adventure, creativity, laughter, and a love for creating memories with his family and friends.

Ken leaves behind his loving parents, John and Pauline (Byam) Robertson; his wife, Cristin (CC) Corcoran; his son, Cole, his proudest creation, and a better skier by age 10; his siblings, Mark Robertson (wife Heidi) and Glenn Robertson and Gail Dimmerling (husband Chris); three nephews, two nieces, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

As a boy in Hollowville, New York, and Antrim, New Hampshire, Ken enjoyed what could be called good, clean fun. He showed cows at the Chatham County Fair with his brothers, "helped" at his grandparents' farm, countless days of fishing, skiing, and camping, sometimes in the backyard. Ken graduated from Contoocook Valley Regional High School (class of '81) and continued his education at Wentworth Institute in Boston, earning an architecture degree.

Ken ventured out of New England and on to Vail, Colorado, enjoying blue bird days and eventually settling in as an architect. He would go on to design dream-like 10,000-square-foot homes in Beaver Creek, ski lodges across the Rockies, revitalization projects in Aspen and resorts like the Four Seasons Resort and Residences in Calistoga, CA. He joined O'Bryan Partnership in 2000, and served as Principal Partner and President in recent years. He also served as a trustee for the Planning and Zoning Commission for Blue River, Colorado-probably pitching bonfire-friendly town policies.

In July 2001, Ken married CC in Breckenridge, and their son, Cole, arrived in 2007, stealing their hearts. Ken along with CC, wanted Cole to be ready for every moment, teaching him to ski, raft, and ride dirt bikes-not sure CC was crazy about that last one. Together they loved cooking, hosting epic gatherings, taking friends and family on amazing trips, always with generous hearts.

No one will forget Ken's twinkling blue eyes and warm smile as he would reminisce of great times as if we were all right there with him for every happy moment. Please take a moment to share a laugh, hit the trails, float down a river, or raise a glass to a life well-lived. Ken's spirit is out there, making sure we are all making new memories and smiling about the ones made with him.

A celebration of life will be held this summer-knowing Ken, he's scouting the perfect spot with a mountain view.

Rest in peace, dear little Kenny...I will always remember helping to take care of you when you were a little boy and I belonged to your Mom's 4-H club. You were the perfect older brother to your 3 siblings, and I am sure grew up to be a fine man. Kathy Shook Jacque
