Kenneth Dwayne RogersMay 25, 1956 — Nov. 28, 2008Kenneth Dwayne Rogers, 52, of Duncan, passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, in Duncan Regional Hospital. He is now with his Lord and Savior and his loved ones above.Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Liberty Baptist Church. Service are under direction of Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.No visitation will be held at the funeral home.Kenneth was born May 25, 1956, in Duncan, the son of Thomas L. Rogers and Wanda Goodrich. He and Paula Dyer were married Oct. 7, 1977, in Duncan. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked as an oil field driller for Jones Drilling Company in Duncan. He loved to ride motorcycles, go fishing and camping. Survivors include his wife, Paula of the home in Duncan; a son, Thomas James “TJ” Rogers and his wife, Dasha, of Comanche; two daughters: Helen Yvonne Rogers and her husband, James Winters, of Duncan, and Misty Ann Bear and her husband, Jason, of Comanche; eight grandchildren: Joshua Todd Rogers, Natasha Trystin Nicole Rogers, Tyler Cv'toce Bear, Jared Dwayne Lewis Winters, Caleb Osuchee Bear, Blaize Rylund Rogers, Saree Ozzie Rogers, and Kenda Jolee Bear; his parents, Thomas L. Rogers and Wanda Goodrich, both of Duncan; a sister, Carolyn Yvonne Lee of Altus; a nephew, Jimmy McPherson and his wife, Christy, and children of Tipton; and Shawn McPherson of Altus.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Buss and Ettie Williams; paternal grandparents, Charles and Mary Rogers; aunts: Rosalee Bingham and Helen White; and a special niece, Cassie McPherson.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation at Gift Processing, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, 825 NE 13th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104.Online condolences may be made at www.bailespolkfuneralhome.com.
