ROMIG, KENNETH LEE
Age 70, of Grass Valley, CA. Born 05/14/1932 in Lewisburg, PA to Raymond and Ellen Romig. Passed away 11/08/2002 in Grass Valley. He obtained an Associate of Arts Degree, served eight years with the TJSAF. Married Colene Hergenroeder on February 7, 1970 in Carmichael, CA. He retired from Federal Employment - Dept. of the Air Force. Member of Combie Bible Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family & friends, Combie Bible Church Family, golfing and woodworking. Survived by wife Colene of 32 years, of Grass Valley, CA; Kenneth Romig, Jr. - son of Antelope, CA; Bruce Hergenroeder - Step-son of Stockton, CA; Ruth Olin - sister of Sunbury, PA; Courtney Marie Romig - granddaughter of Red Bluff, CA; Kenneth Romig III, Grandson of Antelope, CA. Predeceased by Parents, and Sister Jean. Services to be held at 1:30 p.m,. on Friday, November 15, 2002 at Hooper & Weaver Mortuary, 459 Hollow Way, Nevada City, CA with Pastor Dwight Koopsman officiating. Burial at New Elm Ridge Cemetery, Kidder Ave., Grass Valley, CA. Memorial contributions to: Hospice of the Foothills, 12399 Nevada City Hwy, Grass Valley CA, 95945 or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 417 Montgomery St., Suite 404, San Francisco, CA 94104. Ken was a fun guy to be around and we enjoyed our visit to your home in Lake of the Pines. Ed & I were saddened to hear of his passing. Colleen please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Ken was a very nice man and will be missed. He was a dear friend to my grandparents and i'm sure is up in heaven with them now.

Ken, you will be sadly missed by me and my brothers. You and Coleen were best buddies to our parents, and I will always remember the weekends you would come to our house, or my mom and dad would go to yours, and you guys would play Rooke. Even after our parents passed away, you kept in touch with us kids and we want to thank you for caring. We cared to, although we didnt keep in touch as much as we wanted to, you two were, and are always in our hearts and thoughts. I love you Ken, and I love you Coleen. You went through alot Im sure, and now your in peace. I hope you and my mom and dad are all looking down on us. Forever in our prayers and our hearts.
