I just saw that Ken has passed - quite a shock since he was always so much bigger than life. I was a patient of his for about a year, quite a few years back, and he helped me out quite a bit. During that time we golfed several times, and he was always a pleasure to be around. I've driven by ChiroprocticFirst hundreds of times since then, I always look over, thinking I should stop in to say hi, but never did. I'll still look over, but will just think fondly of the man I knew and liked. Condolences to all of his family and friends.

I am so shocked and saddened to read about Ken's passing in the Palmer Alumni Insights magazine. I also graduated from Palmer West in 1986. I remember Ken as a good size guy and a super athlete. He played rugby, basketball, and flag football. He was always matched up against water polo Olympian Terry Schroeder, DC in the intramural sports competitions we had. He was instrumental in starting the Sports Injury Club on campus. I hadn't seen him since graduation, but I have fond memories of him and the kind soul he was. What a loss for our profession, his patients, and his family. My deepest condolences.

I just found out about Ken's passing. I am saddened and express my condolences to his family and friends. I haven't seen him since we went to chiropractic college together, but his energy feels very present to me. I remember his enthusiasm, friendliness, and skill on the basketball court. No one Ken's age should pass, it seems so unfair to me. However, I know he lives on in the many hearts he has touched.
Blessings,

I only recently found out, my chiropractor for the last 20 years. The man who I called The Tony Robbins of Chropractics. The man with more lust for life than anyone I've known. Larger than life personality with a heart of gold, died suddenly at 57. I've been shocked and saddened that such a man of vitality, and warmth, on the verge of retirement, is gone. It doesn't make sense. My condolences go out to those he left behind. He's a man, none who knew him, will forget.

I spent a bit of my childhood with Kenny and his Dad in Manville. We used to do a lot of fishing as youngsters. We also would do a lot of trapping for muskrat. Great times. In my high school years was fortunate to play alongside of him in Basketball and Baseball. He was always very passionate, team first, and strived to be the best. The thing I remember most as a youngster was his passion for music. We used to go over his house and listen to all kinds of music together. Taken way to soon. Rest In Peace my friend!

I was absolutely shocked to see this. I have such fond memories of Kenny. Me and my best friend Dora use to go see Kenny regularly in the late 80's after a car accident. He helped our healing and was so very kind. He even went on a water rafting trip with us on the Middle Fork of the American River. He was so kind and generous to my boys. He use to tell my youngest son Cone on up here, it's time for your attitude adjustment. To which my son would reply, ohhh I get to hear popcorn! It's been many years since I've seen you, funny a few weeks ago I was driving past the office and told my husband I've got to go see him, it's been forever. Now a little forever longer. Rest In Peace kind soul.

I was so shocked today when I saw in the obituaries of his untimely passing as we used to work out together many years ago at 24 Hour Fitness and later he became my Dr. at his first location in Los Gatos. This is so sad and he was the best at everything he did and will be missed for sure. My heart aches at this loss. Rest In Peace my friend. TLC Always

Such a bright light in our profession! A professional all the way! Dr. Savage will certainly be misssid by all that knew him; colleagues, patients and other healthcare professionals in the Valley! Legendary in his own right; other chiropractors respected him highly as did I. He had so much more to offer! Pace In Requiescat - Dr. Ken

Ken was my chiropractor, an Alaskan fishing partner and a wonderful caring friend. His enthusiasm for life was contagious and helped everyone who entered Chiropractic First (CF). I was seen by Dr Savage every week for decades because of his chiropractic skill. He is not someone you forget, ever. I miss him but want to remember him by trying to be more like him in how he treated people! Tight lines, Ken! Love you, Chuck.
