Kenneth Lee Simonson

Ken´s laugh and smile were very contagious! Somehow when Ken would win a Cribbage match, I was the loser smiling and he was shaking his head! Wonderful man!

When arriving at the Shuffleboard Court, Ken would always give me big smile and a friendly "Hello Doris, How are you today? ". He was a dear man who had a great sense of humor as illustrated in his Facebook listings with jokes and laughing out loud pictures. He will be missed by me and many other Shuffleboard friends.

I'm glad Kenny came to a Simonson Family Reunion a couple of years ago. After that meeting I happily read his Facebook postings and "liked" them most of the time. Roger remembers visiting with him at the Reunion. We are sorry for your (and our) loss. I just celebrated my 85th birthday, so I expect to see Kenny soon. Audrey Simonson, Plover and Rolfe, Iowa

It was such a pleasure to know Kenny. From the day he became a VFW 6024 post member, he was always going around and shaking hands making sure he knew everyone. He never failed to come and ask if I needed help with anything when I brought my wagon in to set up refreshments. We were all very interested in the veteran recovery work his daughter Mindy was doing and he never got tired of answering our questions no matter how many times different people asked. His presence and smiling face will be tremendously missed.

Kenny was an awesome brother in law. I enjoyed his sweet laugh and kindness. When Ginger brought Ken home to dinner for the first time, I knew instantly Ken was "the one " for Ginger. He will be greatly missed.
