It's been 5 years now, and there's still not a day that passes in which I don't think of you and miss you dearly. Love you Pop!

My dad passed away on 3/14/2017. I've felt like cr@p because I haven't emotionally felt anything until now. It's now hitting me like a ton of bricks, I'm not sure why it's taken this long. He was, and has always been my hero. I've always looked up to him and admired him. He's always been my aspiration to be something more than what I even thought I could be. I'm hoping I can eventually live up to his hopes and wishes as his son. Ill miss him dearly. I thought I posted this here earlier, but cant find the post, so here it is. Its been One year ago today. I miss you pop!

-Love, your son Rob.

I will miss Ken and miss reading his letters to the Editor. He was a great man and a good friend! Mary, our sympathy and prayers go out to you and your children.

I first met Ken when, as a teenager, I sold tickets at Mystic Eye (in Jaycees Club house.) Ken was one of those moonlighting to provide security. Oh I can still see and (almost) still smell those Fiesta cigarettes! My condolences to his family.

I am so sorry to have read of Ken's passing in the paper. I met Ken online from a mutual friend and we had several short email conversations but I never had the pleasure or opportunity to meet him in person. He reintroduced me to letter-writing to the Sun and through that I learned much about the City Counsel, the city's past and much about the politics of the city and the Nation. He was a true Patriot, knew right from wrong and tried to get the information out to the public. My deepest sympathy to the family. I will surely miss his letters, even the ones that never got printed in the paper.

Ken cared about his community and the welfare of the citizens right up till the end. He continued to try and effect change based upon what he felt was right. Never had the pleasure to work with him but did get to meet him a time or two. Man had blue in him all the way.
