Maureen and family
I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. Although I had only met him a few times, the love that the two of you had was very present in so many of the conversations we have had over the last 15 years...he was not only your father but you two had a gift of being friends as well.
Please remember the smiles and love and laughter and the mutual respect you both had for each other. Those memories will tide you thru the difficult days
Love and God Bless

Today my sister told me that Ken had past on... Within a minute my heart dropped and I shed a tear in his memory! For years we grew up next to the Skinners and could of never asked for better neighbor's! When I was just a little girl Ken had me run the neighborhood listening to Annie - he was sure if I could learn to sing and that I would be on the road making money! Well as I learned I could never sign, but it made for some interesting days in the neighborhood! Then as I got older I bought the house and remember Ken sitting on the porch watching me... At the time I was not sure of the amusement I brought, but he filled me on it;-) From Ken counting how many times I could mow before I ran over the plug on my Electric Mower;-) To Him running across the street when I hung over the railing on the porch trying to cut the hedges! Or when I climbed on to the roof to fix a shingle and the window closed! Thank Goodness for Ken and that lovely Porch! Ken you and your family have given me so much love and I truly will miss you! I am so sorry that I did not hear of this till August 18th. All of you have been my family for so long and I am truly sorry that I was not able to be there to comfort you in your loss. He was a strong man, that enjoyed the simply things in life and he was kind to me and my family. I can only think of how he was always there for his family and his fellow neighbors. There are so many great memories that I can only tresure in my heart and knowing that I can keep them and share them to those that loved him the most. Please except my condolences and know that I wish that I could of been there for all of you. Love each and everyone of you! Jill Butera

Dad, I miss you. I never thought the day would come that you wouldn't be here to call when I need you. I didn't call nearly enough. Please forgive me for that. You are the one that I always wanted to be proud of me. I miss you Dad...
I love you. Please continue to watch over me.

Ken was a good neighbor, when we lived in Park Lane Manor. He kept an eye out for my brothers and I as we grew up through the 60's and beyond. My father was so fond of him when they would sit outside until all hours of the night telling stories about the navy and current events. If you had a problem, Ken would help you work it out.My deepest sympathy to your family.

Ken was a wonderful caring man I will miss very much. I used to love to sit and listen to his stories even if it was one I heard many times before. He was always joking and picking on people. He would help you in any way he could. Michelle,Marny and Mike you was very fortunate to have such a wonderful dad and I know your pain is great right now and always will be but you have so many memories that you can think back on and always find a big smile he made sure of that. And he was a proud father so always remember the good times cause they will help you through the bad. Gina I can't even imagine the pain in your heart 44 wonderful years and all the things the two of you acomplished. All the good times and even some bad but you and Ken together made it through them all and he will help you get through this too. And the 3 beautiful children you was blessed with. Ken will always live on in our hearts even thought his chair sits empty and the pain in our hearts seems unbearable all the good times every one shared with Ken will help us get through this. I love you all very much and I will pray for you. Ken I love you very much and tell Shirley hello.
