Dear Eunice, and Family,

I really thought a lot of your Dad! He really was a kind and generous man, with a heart of gold. He helped me a lot when it came to the little condo, rearranging the agreement, etc. We had many of talks, and his kindness & generousity, was so obvious each and every time.

His main goal in life was to be happy. And happy he seemed to be. He was a "hero" in my book because he was a very special and unique, caring man. And a very close friend. If everyone was a friend like your Father, this world would very much be a better place.

I will miss him, and I will be praying for you and your family, and to all those that loved him as I did,

Love,
Kathy

Sherry, Eunice, and family,

I'm so sorry to hear of Popo's passing. I've known Eunice and Hilda for many years, and Eunice and I worked together back in the 80's. Popo was such a character with a huge heart. He will always be remembered for his humor, kind heart, and generosity.

My heart goes out to each of you during your time of sorrow. I know that he has earned his wings and is soaring high with the angels. We will see each other again in the after life.

With sincere sympathy to you, each of his children, and grandchildren,
Respectfully,
Brenda Layne

Dear Sherry - My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Ken was such a dynamic personality, he will be missed by many. When I worked with him at BOVA I had such a hard time figuring out when he was serious and when he was kidding but then he would get that grin of his then I knew he was just pulling my chain. What a character! If I can help you in any way just give me a call............ warmest regards, Marilyn Catlett

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I have known Ken Sledd since I was 5 years old and spent many years at the Sledd's home as a child. I have remained in contact with Eunice and Mamie throughout my adult years and was re-acquainted with Philip again at Verizon. The Sledd family has always been a part of my life, even hosting my wedding reception. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!
