In memory of
Elaine Soucy
March 19, 2012
Ken, thank you for being the world's greatest dad to Pammy and Kimmy, a loving husband to Joanne, and a wonderful son-in-law and brother-in-law to the Soucy clan. Words cannot express the sadness I am feeling right now. Our niece Brooke said it best that this is such a monumental loss for his family, our family, and to all his friends. Will never forget you and will love you always.

From Beantown I came to visit the Big Apple scene, upon accepting an invitation from Ken to work with him at Trinity Church from morn to eve.
I stayed with Ken and Joanne in their first home inside a castle in the village of Dobbs Ferry, as it was Ken's intent to provide family companionship for my sister.
I saved a token from those days some 30 plus years ago to treasure the memories of Ken's thoughtful and kind ways!

I worked with Ken many years ago at Trinity Church. I will always remember his very distinctive hand writing ~ it was very strong & powerful ~ but Ken, on the other hand, was always very kind & gentle. I'll never forget that smile as it was his signature look, a very happy man indeed. Rest in peace Ken & I will light a candle at church on Sunday for your family. My condolences to you all.

However, after witnessing the amount of people that came out to support the family this evening, I realized that Ken, was a true angel on Earth. We were all very lucky and extremely blessed to have known him. His generous nature, kind words and colorful spirit will always be remembered in our hearts and fond memories. Aunt Joanne, Pam and Kim,
Craig and I will dearly miss Uncle Ken; he was a wonderful presence in our lives and will be treasured forever. I can see his warm smile now and hear him making witty remarks to make those around him laugh and feel so warm. Losing Uncle Ken is monumental but knowing Uncle Ken was profound. May you each allow your fond memories to fill the emptiness in your hearts and let that bring you peace. Uncle Ken wants us to smile; because we know he is smiling at us up there in his front row seat in heaven.
With our deepest condolences and prayers that you find the strength and support needed to guide you through.

Our last communication was via email, and we talked about the great Golf Courses in the UAE, where I'm currently on assignment. Ken was truly a wonderful, unforgettable human being. He was a friend and a mentor, and one of the smartest Accountants I know. I shall miss him terribly! My sincere condolences go out to Joanne, Pamela and Kimberly.

My deepest sympathy goes to the Swan Family. For many years, Ken was a member of the St. Margaret's House board of directors, a board treasurer, a finance committee chair, and I had the opportunity to work under his leadership. Ken has been a great coach and a freind to me and I will never forget him. A great supporter of the St. Margaret's House mission, may his soul rest in peace.

Pamela, I am very saddened about the loss of your father. I know how much he meant to you, your sister, and your mother.
Your dad was a great guy: very smart, funny, and loved to talk. Just really a down to earth person with a warm spriit. I always enjoyed his insight and conversation.
I hope the Swan family can find peace and solice in the memory of Mr. Swan, and reflect on the wonderful person that he was to his friends and family.
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
