Mr. Tuttle was an amazing choir director. He gave me the opportunity to be part of his first Chamber Singers group in 1991-1992. Such an honor to sing under his direction. He gave me the opportunity to represent the Class of 1992 at graduation by speaking the Alma Mater interlude.
He was always so positive and saw the good in everyone.
His voice was beautiful!
He will be greatly missed.

Ken gave me a chance to audition late for Les Cheanteuses my senior year when I moved from Riverside to Redlands for 2011-2012. I had been in the audition choir at my former school and I was going through some fairly rough times mentally and being part of that choir gave me some of the strength to continue that I needed. He always had kind words and motivated me to keep pursuing music, and I’ve become a musician in the years since. He helped make sure I could afford our tour to Texas that year as my family didn’t have the finances to support the trip ourselves. I always looked forward to his jokes and he made vocal warmups enjoyable. I’ll never forget hearing “I think I can do something with you” when i auditioned and he will be dearly missed.

Ken was the most generous man. His dedication to his students and his craft was unparalleled. He had a heart as big as all outdoors. My heart is broken.
