Ken, my, MACAE conferences roommate and just a great guy to be around. I just thought about you and how much you helped Michigan in the area of Community and Adult Education. Never forgotten, you made a difference. Miss talking to you.

I loved Ken's laugh. I can hear it now, so deep and raspy, it echoed throughout a room. And he always had a story to tell, remembering all key characters and events. So sad not to hear his voice anymore.

On behalf of the Michigan Association of Community and Adult Education (MACAE) I would like to offer our condolences on the passing of Ken Walsh. Ken was a lifetime education advocate, member of our association and friend to many in adult education. He served as a leader and mentor for many and through his work help to influence policy and practice for thousands of adult learners across Michigan. His legacy will be one of supporting all learners and as a positive impact on adult education in our state. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
