The Williams Family is in my thoughts and prayers. Ken was a kind and thoughtful gentleman. It was always nice to work with and learn from Ken. We always wanted Ken on our side of the case because everyone knew that if Ken was involved, things were going to get done correctly.
I hope these words of Pope Francis bring you comfort: "We do not live aimlessly and without destination. We are awaited. We are precious. God has prepared for us the most worthy and beautiful place: Paradise." Rest in peace my friend.

Dear Friends -- Ken Williams deserves to be remembered professionally as a consummate expert on all matters related to the Natural Gas Act and the Interstate Commerce Act as well as a very capable administrator at FERC during all the years I was on staff and some of my tenure as a commissioner. He seemed never to meet a problem he couldn't solve. Most importantly, Ken was a man of unfailing good humor and soft-spoken graciousness in dealing with his staff and colleagues. I think he was truly beloved.
