It's been difficult to figure out the right thing to say. I was under Ken's counsel for roughly the last decade, and the profound impact he has had on my life will never be forgotten. There are so many times where he was able to help re-direct a thought, share a different perspective, and that led me out of some very dark. His laugh and his love for his family are the things that have always stood out to me.
Well done good and faithful servant. Your fellow veterans will take the reins from here. Thank you for everything, Ken. You left a profound mark on many of us.

Thank you for everything you taught me. From the chess board, the baseball field, the basketball court, pool table and in life, you showed us both how to face adversity and how to act when winning and when losing. You showed me patience and understanding and helped me to develop into the man I am today. Even after years of not seeing each other you were there when I was hurt and needed a friend. I am forever grateful. Rest In Peace friend, until we meet again.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief Lois, Debbie and Phil. We were all neighbors at one time and I couldn’t have ever asked for better neighbors than the Wilson’s!! I have always looked at Kenny as a smart intelligent man and I know he helped many throughout his work career!! He will be missed by many!! He is no longer suffering or in pain and he is flying high with those angels and his brother Joey!! RIP brothers!!Holly

Ken's passing sideswiped me. My heart gasped. I knew Ken from working with him professionally in the mental health field and then later in life, as he pursued becoming a therapist. While driving his sleek, sports car! He was witty, his jokes always had a "snap to them, once they clicked. (I always seemed to have a three second delay, ha,ha,ha...but I did describe him as "witty"). Best smile ever. Great pool player! I understood his love for his mother, waiting with her one time while Ken had a medical procedure done. She was lovely. I didn't want to tell her that a nurse that Ken worked with and I, sneakily snuck up to his hospital room the night before. At 2:00 am. We plastered a huge, four foot poster of Hawaii where he had been stationed, right in front of his bed for moral support. I remember that romantic Marine. I remember his gentle eyes and his kindness. He was so devoted to his patients because he told me he felt it was his "life's calling". I knew him when Evan was little and Ken's eyes just shined around Evan. He adored him. An honorable man. An honorable life. That is the right way to live and that is how I remember Ken. My sympathy to his family and to his friends. Linda (Barberio) Granzow

I only knew Ken for the past few years, from work. His passion for helping people, especially his fellow Veterans, showed in his actions. For his coworkers, he always seemed to enjoy good conversation, whether it was to share a laugh, give advice, or just listen. He is the type of guy that will be missed by all that knew him.

Ken you were my mentor, my brother and my friend. You helped so many people, I will miss our conversations and jokes that most wouldn’t get. I am happy to have worked with you and proud to have known you, your friend always. ~ Lario Duarte

Ken was a great person to me. I really looked up to him. He helped me get through some pretty rough patches. I might not be here today if it wasn't for Ken. You will be dearly missed.

I knew Ken when I was young and we used to hang around him, and his brothers, Joe, and Phil. I considered them good people and Ken (along with Joe), went too soon. May God bless the Wilson family, Lois, Debbie, and Phil at this difficult time.
