Dear Meg, Chris, Mary-Pat, Sarah and families,
Jack and I send our sincerest condolences. I was very lucky to work for many years under Mr. Bailey as principal. He was the consummate mentor and role model to faculty and students alike. He knew everyone and cared about everyone, and we could not have wished for a better principal. I am so glad he and I kept in touch on Facebook in recent years. I send hugs and prayers to all of you.

Our condolences to Daisy, Meg, Chris, Mary Pat, Sarah, and your families,
Kent was such a good friend to my parents, Charlie and Sandy Allen. He was wonderful about staying in touch and coming back to Hardwick to visit with them. They met him when he lived in Hardwick, coming to the area to be the principal at Quabbin Regional. Twelve of them spent many summers going to Kennebunkport, ME, developing a friendship that lasted decades.
Although over the years, we heard many fun stories, I want to share one personal memory. Shortly after we had our son, I received a phone call from Kent asking if I was "receiving" yet, as he had a gift he wanted to bring. That phrase has stuck with me for over 20 years; so thoughtful, polite and kind, like Kent.
May your memories of him bring you comfort.
In sympathy,
Chellie Allen & family

Mr. Bailey was one of the kindest, BEST men I've ever known. I have nothing but good memories of him. My favorite memory was when we were building theatre sets on a Saturday. He came in in his dungarees and t-shirt, he'd just been to the dump, with his own hammer and spent a while working with us. He didn't make a big deal of it, just helped quietly. He cared about all of us. You all were lucky to have him so long. God bless Kent Bailey!!
