Kerri Lee Kelley

Kerri Lee Kelley (Gonzalez), age 53, of Largo, Florida, passed away June 15th in Clearwater, Florida after a short illness. She was ushered into the world in Hudson, Michigan in 1969, the day the US stepped foot on the moon, making her a true moon child.

Kerri's most cherished accomplishment in life was her son, Michael Gonzalez whom she adored. She was the most kind hearted, compassionate woman with a quick and genuine smile for all she met. Her fascination and love of Dragonflies was legendary, which she saw as a positive reminder to live life to the fullest.

Kerri's educational journey started at Elgin High School in Elgin, Illinois and transferred to Gateway High School in Aurora, Colorado, where she graduated. She furthered her education at Front Range Community College in Westminster, Colorado where she received a degree in Liberal Arts.

Kerri worked as a courteous and empathetic Bank Teller for many years. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor made her a valued member of the banking community.

She is survived by her son, Michael Gonzalez of Wilmington, North Carolina. Kerri is also survived by her parents, Kay Kelley of Largo, Florida, and David (Karlene) Hart of North Port, Florida. She is also survived by her brothers and sister, Todd Hart of North Port, Florida; Erin (Christopher) Stine of Elgin, Illinois; Chad (Erica) Hart of South Elgin, Illinois.

Immediate arrangements were made by Best Care Cremation of Clearwater, Florida. Services for Kerri will be private at a later date.
