"Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and they staff they comfort me.” Ps. 23:4
Sincere Condolences To The Family of Kerry "Peanut" Cotton
Even though we walk through the dark valley of death, we should not be afraid, for God is close beside us. His rod and his staff protect and comfort us.
We can struggle with other enemies, our pain and sufferings, but strength and courage cannot overcome death. Only one person can walk with us through death’s dark valley and bring us safely to the other side-the God of life, our shepherd.
Jesus has the power over life and death as well as the power to forgive sins. He who is life, can surely restore life.
You are never alone and with strength and love, your soul will be refreshed and filled with wonderful memories of your departed
God is with you. The same God that guided his son through death and back to life said he will never leave us or forsake us.
Whoever believes in Christ has a spiritual life that death cannot conquer or diminish.
When we realize his power and how wonderful his offer to us really is, we can commit our lives to him. To those of us who believe, we have the reassurance and certainty that we will live again.
To the family, look to the hills from whence cometh your help, your help comes from the Lord.
Prayerfully Submitted,
Sis. Anne (Moore) Holloway, Secretary & The Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church, Pastor, Reverend Stephen Stevens.

To Ms. Dora and Kathy and Marshall and Family. I want to say that Peanut will be missed in this community, his sense of humor, smile and most of all advice for people whom he came in contact with. I will miss picking @ him everytime I see him and him picking @ me. He will be surely missed. But to the family I say Take God's hand in those difficult times, He will lift you up above your circumstance to the place of comfort, warmth, and safety that He has for you. He sent the Holy Spirit to be your comforter and Helper, and He will remind you of that in the midst of difficult times.
Know that I love you and God does to

To Dora Mae, Cathy, Marshall and all the family of Peanut. I want you to know that I'm praying for you and you are in my heart. The last time I saw Peanut he knew exactly who I was and I remember telling him that he have such a good memory. We laughed and talked and had a good visit. I remember the little boy real well but it was so nice seeing such a handsome young man. God bless you. Evangelist Mattie Owens
