Kerry S. Hahn

Just thought of the time I spent working with her at The Great American People Show! Year of the Bison. Delightful!

I will always remember Kerry's "booming" voice and her bright huge eyes. She was a "shining star" while she was here with us. She will be missed.

It is wonderful to see that she lived her life to the fullest.I was in classes with Kerry eons ago at SHS and there was never any doubt that she would succeed and excell.Heartfelt sympathies to all who will share the grief of Kerrys passing on to heaven.

So sorry for your loss.

I recently moved back to Springfield after 30 years in Texas and remember Kerry from her tireless work with the Muni Opera and Theater Guild. She will be missed. My heartfelt sympathy to Kerry's family and many friends.

We appreciated the time Kerry spent with our 4-H members at the State Fair, discussing their photography exhibits and sharing her expertise. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.

I remember Kerry at SHS as a very sweet person, always a sparkling personality, and loved by all who knew her. My deepest sympathies to her family and close friends.

I will remember forever your energies, your laugh, your quirky sense of humor. And I feel blessed that our paths crossed.

The world has lost a wonderful person. Kerry went above and beyond to help me as an actor and I am eternally grateful. She may be gone, but she is not gone from the hearts of all she touched.

Kerry, you are far too soon gone from us. Your laugh was infectious and your talents on and off, particularly on stage, were a gift to all of us who got to watch your performances. I'll always remember your presence as Puck, and I'll NEVER forget competing with, and losing to you, for that wonderful role. Even remembering now I know the better 'Puck' won. God rest you merry, gentle spirit. And thanks for sharing with us.

I too am saddened by the news of Kerry's passing. I remember her fondly of our times together at SHS and IWU. She was a wonderful person and made life fun.

Kerry was special to me during a special time at IWU and I loved her very much. She was sensitive, caring, talented and a beautiful friend. I feel this loss deeply. My prayers go out to Kerry's family and friends.

This is very hard news to hear. The loss of a wonderful actor, singer, dancer, and friend--so many memories from IWU. My deepest condolences to family and my prayers to Kerry in heaven.

I enjoyed every class I had with her. She was such a great teacher and such a passion for acting and life. I will miss seeing her around campus. My prayers and thoughts go out to her family and friends.

Kerry was a sweet person who always wanted the best for everyone she knew. It is her caring nature that I will remember and appreciate. I wish her family and friends all the best.

kerry and i worked together at the great american people show, new salem. she was always funny and optimistic and if i am not mistaken, was one of the actors who started, "Year of the bison!" which resulted in me having t-shirts silkscreened for the whole company! Kerry was a doll!!

We remember Kerry as a young, beautiful person, who loved theater. She could light up a room with her smile. We will cherish our memories of her.

I'm in shock and so sad to hear the news. I last saw her at the University of Illinois when she came to see my daughter in a production. She brought her a book on acting. It was her passion in life to teach. We spent so many good times at Illinois Wesleyan. She never forgot that I cast her in the lead for my senior directing project. I'm just numb. I'm just stunned and so saddened to hear this. My prayers to her family and all who loved her.

Kerry's smile and laughter could light up a room and will be greatly missed by all of us who knew her. My thoughts and prayers go to her family and friends and all of us who were lucky enough to have her in our lives.

I worked with Kerry at MacMurray and she was my advisor for the Adult Degree Commpletion program. She was an awesome women and a wonderful friend. I will miss her visits to my office and phone calls. To her family I am so sorry for your loss. She is irreplacable. Heaven just got sweeter.

I went to school with Kerry and remember her exhuberance in choir and theater productions. I'm happy to see that she was able to live her passion, but so very saddened to read of her passing. My prayers are with all.

I knew Kerry through Muni and Springfield Theater Guild (Theatre Centre). Whether she was performing in the chorus or had a major role, was working backstage or directing she cared about other people. Her smile and laughter was infectious.
