Kerry McClung Obituary
Kerry died peacefully in his sleep at home. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carmen, their three children, Russ (Janet), Robin, and Kelly, and their grandchildren, Ben, Clara, Andy, Charlie, and Sophie. Kerry spent 30 years with the Edmonton Fire Department. A funeral is scheduled for 1:00 pm on March 31, 2018 at St. Augustine Anglican Church, 6120 Fulton Rd. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Kerry's life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

Only one word is needed to describe Kerry. He was a Mensch. For those who do not know Yiddish, this is the definitionn of Mensch: a good person, gentleman, person of integrity and honor, someone to admire and emulate, noble character and a sense of what is right. One of my first memories of Kerry is after my mom married Carmen's dad we went to visit them in Edmonton. I had just started wearing bras and I had one that had a bee on it. Kerry would tease me and say the bee would sting me and make me swell up! He could always make me laugh!! I will miss you, Kerry!! Love and prayers to the rest of my family!!

I had the good fortune & privilege of working with Kerry in Fire Investigation. He made the work enjoyable & interesting at times. And there some calls that were something else!
I will miss his quirky sense of humour & different thoughts on various things & issues.
