Diane. I don't know if you remember me but I used to live across the street from you on Cassell. I was so sorry to hear of Kevin's passing. I always appreciated how he cleaned the snow from my driveway and his smile always brightened my day when he waved to me.You are in my prayers.

Kevin added a lot of energy to the Pops orchestra-even from the back! We will miss him & his positive attitude.

Kevin was a very special student to me and he was a joy to teach as was his wife Diane who also studied horn with me at Youngsttown State University. Kevin' s very even temperament was an inspiration to all that knew him. He brightened many of the days when I knew him. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Diane and his family

Sending my condolences to Mr.Bain's family, he was an awesome and funny man. Also I am very sorry to the Northwestern music department because I know how close the band is, they are a family in their own way. I know he will be truly missed, but has made such an impact on so many young lives that his legacy will live on in music, which I am sure he would love!

My sincerest condolences to the Bain Family. Kevin was a truly great guy and always had a way to make you laugh. I knew him from when we were in Warren Junior Military Band together. I am so saddened that his smile, humor, and presence is gone from us. God Bless you and be with you in this difficult time.

Heartfelt sympathy to Kevin's family. I will miss him so much in the Pops orchestra. It was an honor and pleasure to play in the horn section with him.

12 years ago this great man taught me the basics of playing the clarinet and reading music. Though he was my music teacher, he taught me so much more than music and I will forever be grateful to him. To his family, I am very deeply sorry for your loss. May you find solace in your time of grief.

Our prayers go out to the Bain Family. We credit Mr. Bain for our daughter's musical interest. He was an amazing teacher and we will miss him deeply.

You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. My mom passed away earlier this month and it's been really hard on us. Losing your dad at such a young age must be incredibly difficult. I never got to know your dad, but he sounds like he was a really great guy. Do the best you can to be a good support to your mom and sis at this time; I'm sure they will need it a lot.

Kevin was an integral member of the Akron Pops Orchestra. He will be very sorely missed. May God bless you and your family at this time of sorrow.

We grieve with you at the loss of a beloved teacher and friend. Mr. Bain was always supportive of our grandchildren. I enjoyed the wonderful concerts he presented at Northwestern.
