Kevin T. Cadigan

I enjoyed my brief acquaintance with my cousin Kevin. He was an interesting man with a number of accomplishments, including heroic service in the Army Air Corps during World War II. The first time we met was for lunch at the Shiloh in Seaside with my mother, Louise Greenough and my daughter, Mary Ann. Since we had never met, he was going to stand outside by the door and would also wear a black pullover sweater, so we could identify him. There was no doubt as to who he was, however, as he looked just like our mutual grandfather, Andrew Jackson Greenough, stature, smile, hair-do and all. We enjoyed exchanging information about family and about Butte. I grew up only a few blocks from where he lived. We both were busy, Kevin with Danita and retirement activities, and I was still working as a special ed teacher. With our five children, a farm on Puget Island,my husband, Lloyd, who was retired by then, and I were busy, so we really didn't see much of Kevin after that. I did look forward to getting one of Kevin's interesting letters at Christmas time. I'm really sorry we didn't make more of an effort to get better acquainted. I'm going to miss those letters! I send my condolances to his family and wish Kevin Eternal Peace.
