dear Kevin and Family,
it is with deep sorrow to hear the sad news of your Fathers passing. I myself just suffered the loss of my mother Marie in january, which you knew as we were kids growing up. as we grow older there are so many wonderful moments and memories of Oak Lawn during the 50's and 60's. You and I used to hitch hike everyday to Brother Rice and back home. Some day I would like to share with you the story my father told me, when your father said to my father about starting ride pool for high school. my father said let them hitchhike and the next sentence convinced your father.... yeah they should hitch your father you said. the rest of the story can only be told in person. Kevin if you ever need anything im still living just two blocks from where we lived.

My heartfelt condolences to your family on the loss of Ted and Sean.
I attended the moving service at St. Linus on Saturday with my parents and Linda. The music was beautiful and in keeping with your Dad's joy of singing. He was such a kind man and always so nice to me and my family. He was such a dear friend to my parents and they shared wonderful times together eating out, playing bridge, golfing, participating in "Way Off Broadway" and vacationing on Siesta Key. Many wonderful, fun memories. He was truly a gentleman and he will be missed by so many who's lives he touched. I did not know Sean well but his passing was shocking and much too soon. Peace to his family.
Fondly,
Laura Mikrut Kearney

Dear Cronin Family,
I am saddened to hear about this loss of another kind, loving, true gentleman. It is barely one month since we said goodbye to another Battle of the Bulge hero and WOB star ,Jack Hogan. They proudly bore the title of the "greatest generation" throughout their lives. Through any and all rough times Ted never lost his humor and full smile. God bless all of you and heal your loss with treasured memories of this great man.

So sorry for the loss of this great man! He was one of the happiest and most thoughtful men that I have ever had the privilege of meeting. One thing is certain, he loved his family! The smile on his face when he spoke of his wife, children and grandchildren would light up a room!

Dear Cronin Family, I am so very sorry to hear of Ted's loss. I have so many wonderful Way Off Broadway memories of both Ted and Millie. My name is Kathi Bird but my maiden name was Gruca and I am Mary Rita's daughter. Over the last few years, I used to see Ted fairly often at the Oak Lawn racquet club fitness center when I was in town (I live in VA) visiting my Mom. We would always chat and I was impressed with how well he was doing and how sharp he was. It saddens and surprises me that he has past. Lisa and Maura, I often asked after you girls and have fond memories of you both from the old days. I am so sorry for the tremendous loss you must be feeling. My heart goes out to you all.

Sending my deepest sympathy to the whole family. Mr C. was a staple on the block, him and Mrs C. are the last of the originals on the great block we live(d) on. He did so much for the community and enjoyed our neighborhood. He is singing and dancing in heaven and playing some golf with all his friends. May all your memories help you through this difficult time and know his life is a celebration of love, courage, patriotism, faith, family, and honor.
