KEVIN MICHAEL DIEL

Kev and I have been buddies for 20 years. I hadn't seen him in a long time, but we were in contact via Facebook and would text occasionally. I am going to miss my good friend, prayers and love to his family. I am devastated by this news.

Kevin was a family friend while my brother, Bryan and I were still kids living with our birth family. He was Bryan's best friend in Junior High and High School. I have many childhood memories of Kevin. I can't remember why anymore, but we used to call him "Firple." I remember stealing the towel he had wrapped around him, as Bry and he came back from swimming in the freezing cold Puget Sound one summer evening. He had to snag the towel back from me all nakey! Kevin and Bryan kept up with each other a bit over the years. I'm so sad he passed as such a young man. Sincerely, Barbara Buchanan Horton
