Kevin W Dow

Kevin W Dow, age 51, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2024, succumbing to a battle with cancer which, until the very end, he hoped to win. Kevin was a beloved family member and a cherished friend to many -- many who considered him their best friend. He had a way of putting everyone at ease with his friendly nature, infectious laughter, witty sense of humor, and beautifully kind spirit.

Born October 8,1972, in Palos Heights, IL, son of William and Shirley Lewandowski, Kevin spent his early years in Bridgeview, IL, and moved with his family to Arizona after the loss of his father.

Kevin's charismatic nature and sincere desire to help and interact with people brought him to success in the world of social entertainment and promotions. With sports being high on Kevin's list and coming from a family of Chicago Cubs fans, he remained a steadfast Cubbies fan, but also gave due credit to the DBacks. Kevin loved his sports and regularly watched ballgames with his friends, and with his mom while she was alive. Another big love of Kevin's was animals, which was clearly shown in his love for Honey and Badger, his precious Chihuahuas. Kevin had an unmatched appreciation for his friends, his buddies who made his life rich with smiles.

Kevin made a career change after the loss of his mother, and oh how she would have loved to have seen his new dapper haircut and style! With his bright personality, passion to succeed, professionalism, and a well-deserved circle of friends, Kevin had almost immediate success in real estate. He was an agent who was prepared, honest, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and always delightful to his clients. Kevin's exuberant conversation about real estate at family dinners made it clear that he enjoyed his work and was living a happy life.

Most agree that when Kevin arrived at a family gathering or a get-together with friends, the room truly got brighter when he entered. His presence was a blessing to those around him, and there was no shortage of smiles. Kevin's genuine caring for others and his joyous nature added a cheerful and loving air to any occasion. Our very special friend, nephew, and cousin will be immensely missed more than words can describe.

Kevin is survived by his Aunt Marlene, cousins Shelley, Sherry, Lisa, and Janet, sister Kim, girlfriend Jenn, and a generous circle of friends who title him "best friend" and "brother."

Mr. Kevin W. Dow ... thank you for your love and the impact you made on each of us. You were truly one of the very best.
