Well, for me, Kevin was the first hippie I'd ever encountered in the form of a first cousin. As I had infrequent visits with him in the following years; his intelligence and wry wit free on me.
He took me for my first, and injuries in a VW bug. And, he showed me how to and what not to do while riding his BIKE KR100! Chris, his brother was the guy I looked up to and tried to emulate. But Kevin demonstrated how truly individualistic a person could be.
The impact upon my life growing up, the cool stuff the three Edwards cousins had and still have on me will always be cherished.

I knew Kevin since 2001, when we worked for the same fitness company. Since then, I worked many triathlons with him on motorcycle, as we worked the bike course. He was that rare breed of guy, that liked to go fast on a motorcycle, and also train hard on his bicycle. I was just thinking that it was about time for him to email the guys to work the Iron man in June. I miss his leadership already. He had that deep commanding voice at all our marshal meetings, and he really was an inspiring guy. I will miss many things about Kevin, but mostly, that he was a guy who could do it all, and do it well, and with a smile. I miss you, Kev.

Kevin, one of many of my first cousins was certainly an original! I recall him sorting g through his ski equipment for sale; preparing to send out to some initial clients via USPS.
Coming from Michigan, he openly shared his views on the gas guzzling lead sleds being built, and his disdain for my cigarette smoking.
My conservative views weren't quite his thing, but he always shared introspect with a wide grin!
Letti g me, a 19 year-old kid ride his new BMW KR100 Cycle was just cool. I couldn't quite share his enthusiasm for VW Bugs, but that the g did haul butt!

Kevin certainly lived his life to the fullest - there's a lesson in that for all of us. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Ed Byrne

In 1982 i was a very sad teen in Boulder's foster care system. Kevin was my attorney. He was decent and kind and trustworthy...all things I desperately needed at that time. He made me laugh in some of the darkest days of my young life....he belived me and he made sure I had a voice in court. I am grateful to se the joy and passion with which he lived his life. My thoughts are with those who were lucky enough to know and love him. He will ever remain one of the good guys.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to your family during this difficult time. I hope that the promise at 1 Thessalonians 4:14 brings you comfort. Knowing that there is a hope for the ones we have lost in death, can be so reassuring.

I spent quite a bit of time with Kevin back in the late 90's... running, biking, racing, and hanging out. He was positive, encouraging, funny, and always had an interesting perspective to share... and was always willing to share it! Our paths crossed here and there in more recent years, and it was always great to see Kevin and his contagious grin. Kevin will be missed!
