Kevin Edward Gahagan

Kevin E. Gahagan, 41, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on September 4, 2024, leaving behind a family who loves him dearly. Born on February 27, 1983, in Newport Beach, CA, to Kathy and Michael Gahagan, Kevin's life was tragically cut short, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Kevin grew up in Laguna Hills, CA, and graduated from Mission Viejo High School in 2002. He went on to attend Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, where he majored in theology and communications. An aspiring leader and athlete, Kevin founded the Liberty University crew program, which has since grown to include men's and women's teams that compete at the national level. He was a man of faith and attended Saddleback Church, where he found solace in his belief in eternal salvation.

Kevin is survived by his loving mother, Kathy, and his two brothers, Jeff (46) and Ryan (44). He will be buried near his father, Michael, who passed away on July 14, 2024 at Ascension Cemetery in Lake Forest, CA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kevin's memory to the Saddleback Church Hope for Mental Health initiative.

Kevin was a kind and gentle man who left this world far too soon. He loved his family and carried the weight of losing his father with him. Now, his pain and suffering are over, and he rests peacefully in heaven through God's grace and Divine Mercy.
