Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We are so saddened by the passing of Kevin, and know that this is the most heart breaking and difficult time that you will ever face.I remember when my brother and sister in law lost their son how mommy said that no parent should ever go thru this and I wish there was something we could do. Please know we are here for you anytime. Lisa call anytime too I'm a good listener. The hope that we must cling to is to know that heaven is where our loved ones are and to strive to be there one day with them that has went on before us.I pray Gods comfort and strength to be with you. love, Joyce and Jackie

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Gartley, When Kevin transferred from Nabisco in Wilkes Barre to the Parsippany, New Jersey location, it didn’t take long for the rest of the members of the Information Security Team to realize what an asset he was to the group. Not only was Kevin exceptionally gifted but he was the kindest, most patient man I have EVER known. His free spiritedness is the quality I most admired; Kevin was so independent and lived life as he wanted . . . with no regrets.

It goes without saying that I was beyond heartbroken to learn of Kevin’s untimely passing. Although words can't possibly ease the loss you bear, it is my hope that in your time of sorrow you find comfort in the memories you created as a family.

My heartfelt condolences,

Jackie Helseth

Here in the D&B office in the UK we were all completely shocked when we heard the very sad news about Kevin. Even though we never met Kevin, we often spoke to him on the phone or on email and his willingness to help his colleagues shone through. For me personally Kevin came across as a patient and understanding person and nothing was too much trouble. We will miss him.

Thirty nine years ago I moved to Connecticut and left my best friend in Pennsylvania. Although we were over 200 miles apart, I never forgot him. Through out my life I always talked about my best friend, Kevin, and those memories of him will never leave me. I'm sorry we lost him so soon.

Mr/Mrs Gartley, Scotty and entire family,

We are deeply saddened by the news of Kevin's passing. Whether you called him Kevin, Chico, Peep, or brother, there were MANY good times/stories shared in our younger days. Throughout, Kevin was always a free-spirit, but cared about all people he encountered.

Our Prayers/thoughts go out to the entire family for strength, healing and the Faith that we will all see him again some day.

Kevin was unique in every way, and we need to hold on to those memories and celebrate his time/life with us.

Regards, Billy, Nikki, Will and Rachel Greytock (Raleigh NC)
