Kevin Stewart Guiler

Kevin Stewart Guiler, 37 years old, of San Antonio, Texas passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024 with his wife, Tiffany, by his side.

Kevin was born in Columbia, MD on December 5, 1986. He entered the United States Army in February 2007 and served until he medically retired as a Sergeant in August 2014. Kevin was stationed in Korea as his first assignment. He was then deployed in a Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and then again to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. Kevin was awarded the Service Ribbon 3rd Award, NATO Medal, and Combat Infantryman Badge.

After retirement from the military, Kevin earned an Associate's Degree in Diesel Mechanics from St. Philip's College in San Antonio, Texas. After graduation, he was employed by Holt Caterpillar as a Diesel Mechanic/Technician. He also spent time as a Bicycle Mechanic with Bicycle Heaven.

Kevin was an original member of The Dirt Therapy Project, a mountain biking organization dedicated to the military community. He also enjoyed playing his bass guitar, video games and fostering dogs.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Tiffany Scott; his daughter, AubreyLynn Guiler; his mother, Terry Guiler; sisters, Lindsay Hamilton (Jason) and Virginia Corso; niece, Reagan Hamilton and nephew, Thomas Vaughn; brothers-in-law, Curtis Gibson and Nick Scott; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Randall Guiler; grandparents, Harvey and GeorgiaBelle Guiler and Bruce and Joan McNeil; and cousin, Kelsey Barry.

A military service to honor Kevin's life will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville PA 17003. Military honors will be rendered during the ceremony.
