Kevin M. Hartman

When I heard of Kevin passing my heart broke. My thoughts and prayers go out to Roxy and Jack Jr. I can only remember all the good times Kevin and I had at PHS and working at Gary's with Roxy. All the time I spent at the Hartman's was special. Although I have not seen or spoken to Kevin in more than 35 years, I have to take the last line from the movie"Stand By Me" and change it a bit. "I never had any friends later on like the one I had when I was 16, Jesus does anyone?". Rest in peace Kevin my old friend.

Many years ago, Kevin and I and other coworkers at PNS laughed, cried and sweat each day away working to rebuild US Navy submarines. The work and being able to do it with people like Kevin Hartman was a joy.

Time passes, the work changes and paths diverge at PNS. That happened to Kevin and I. But I can never forget the smiles, the laughter...the glory of those times.

Nancy - I am so sorry for your lose. Kevin was 1 of my first "X38" friends, I always enjoyed our social talk when we saw each other through out his 34 years. The world has lost another true and real human.
